Driving from Rethymno area , the journey starts early in the morning for our first stop in Elafonisi island . Some refreshment breaks are available , admiring also the cretan landscape. Enjoy your morning dive in the turquoise water of Elafonisi beach. Walk in the pinky and colourful sand . Elafonisi island is also a shelter of wildlife , protected from NATURA 2000 ecological network. 

As soon as we say goodbye to Elafonisi , we make a stop in the nearby village of Elos ... Then, we say hello to Balos Lagoon also a colourful and attractive destination.             

We follow a wonderful route from Kissamos port to Balos Lagoon up to Gramvousa peninsula, having our second magic moment in this excursion... In many places the sand has a lovely pinkish color, because of millions of crushed shells.

The return in Rethymno is estimated late in the afternoon. You may feel tired , however you will have lived an unforgettable experience as both Elafonisi and Balos are two of the most spectacular beaches of Crete Island
