An unforgettable visit to Gavdos Island makes our Sundays even better ! Our journey to the island starts early in the morning from Rethymno area to the seaside village of Plakias . From the newly built port of Plakias , we are embarked to the comfortable ferry for a travel where you can admire the crystal clear waters of Cretan Sea.
After approximately 1 hour, we are disembarked to Gavdos Port, named Karaves. The seaside village of Agios Ioannis is our first stop of this island , which waits you to discover it. The famous beach of Sarakiniko and the Lighthouse are also two places definitely worth visiting!
Gavdos was living many years in the shadows... However, the few inhabitants and thousands of campers every summer give to this island the meaning which fully deserves it.
