This excursion combines the beauty and serenity of Lassithi area, most eastern part of Crete island. We reach Agios Nikolaos as our first stop , having free time to explore the city.
You 'll have the opportunity to see the picturesque Lake Voulismeni, a lagoon that is located in the center of the town , strolling into a variety of shops. You will then aboard the boat sailing towards the archaeological site of Olous
and the crystal clear waters of Kolokytha Beach. As we reach the island of Spinalonga you will have 2 hours to explore this amazing place that is full of modern history.
Spinalonga is an uninhabited island of the leper colony, surrounded by pebble beaches and colourful waters. A place where up to 1957, leper people lived isolated due to illness and prejudice that followed them throughout their lives.
Stroll inside their small houses, the medical office, feeling that you carry all their needs for a better life. As our visit in Spinalonga ends, we then return by boat to Agios Nikolaos; our bus awaits in order to take you back
to your assigned location.
