Rethymno - Samaria Gorge (Long Way)

Come with us to explore Samaria Gorge. This excursion although is one of the longest, is also at the same time one of the most beautiful.

For this adventure, we travel west towards Chania along the north coast and then southwards into the White Mountains range, up to Omalos Plateau, where Gorge’s entrance is located.

The Gorge, 16km long, is situated within the National Park of Samaria and goes down to the shores of Libyan Sea and the peaceful / relaxing village of Agia Roumeli.

As the hiking continues, you will be able to appreciate one of the most spectacular natural beauties of Crete even in a very narrow passage of only 3, 5 meters, which is known as “Iron Gates”.

Once arrived in Agia Roumeli, you will be conveyed on an equally interesting boat trip to Chora Sfakion.

Coach driver will be already there in order to return back to your accommodated place.
